How it all works
Back to: CILT TRAINING – CILT DECATHLON
Welcome! Read through this entire page carefully before moving on to the events.
What is the CILT Decathlon?
This Decathlon is your weekly training. It’s also a competition between all the CILTs who are at camp! Each week, you will [1] find a lesson that sounds fun, [2] read the rules, [3] work with teammates (for team events) or create something on our own, and [4] submit a “Score Report Form.” You will get points for your submission once a judge looks at your form.
Which team am I on?
For session 1, the teams are based on flocks. Make sure to use the CILT roster to contact your teammates for any team events.
Which Events can I do?
You are welcome to participate in all of them for the current week. SOLO events are things you do on your own. TEAM events are things you do with your teammates, and HEAD-TO-HEAD events are things you do with someone who is NOT on your team.
After completing the Score Report Form for an event, click the “Mark as Complete” button on each page.
How do I win?
By competing in events! There is a new section each week, and each event is its own “lesson.” Every lesson is different, so they will have their own rules that explain how to earn points. You will typically have to attach a screenshot or video to your score report form for maximum points.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you complete the “Score Report Form” at the end of each lesson in order to get points for that event!
You can compete in multiple events if you’d like, and you can redo the same event as many times as you want. ONLY YOUR HIGHEST SCORE is recorded for each event, and the rest are ignored.
*Note: If it’s a TEAM event with your whole flock, you will only be able to submit one entry.
The leaderboard on the main page shows you which flock is winning!
